Viral social media posts about a mother in Florida who wants to save her 4-year-old son from a court ordered circumcision.

iRumorMill.com Determination: Real but may be Out of Date

According to a  May 14 2014 article by the Broward Palm Beach New Times  Heather Hironimus of Boynton Beach and Dennis Nebus of Boca Raton were in a relationship and had a child, Chase, in 2010 and was fighting to prevent a court ordered circumcision of her son.

The article said the relationship did not last but in an effort to be responsible single parents they entered into a parenting agreement about a year after the child was born. The article said the "agreement clearly stated that the father would be responsible for scheduling and paying for the boy's circumcision."  Three years have gone by with no compliance to that stipulation to the agreement and now the mother objects to the stipulation for fear that a procedure could put her son's life in jeopardy. Her statement on the court record said that the circumcision was "not medically necessary and she did not want to have the parties' son undergo requisite general anesthesia for fear of death."

This iRumor went viral on Facebook the following November when actor Russell Crowe got involved and re-tweeted a message to his followers on Twitter.
