Viral rumors alleging that members of the audience walked out on President Obama while he was making a speech at a campaign rally for the Democratic gubernatorial candidate for Maryland.

President Obama made a rare appearance at a rally to support Lieutenant Governor Anthony Brown,  the Democratic candidate running for governor in the state of Maryland, "but early departures of crowd members while he spoke underscored his continuing unpopularity." This according to a October 19, 2014 article by Reuters that said, "[a] steady stream of people walked out of the auditorium while he spoke, however, and a heckler interrupted his remarks."

Reuters reported that "Obama's help, or lack thereof, may not matter much to Brown, who is 11 points ahead of Republican opponent Larry Hogan."
