This report is false. It originated from a fake news website called "Hip Hop Hangover." It should not be taken seriously.
The evidence that this story is bogus lies buried in the legaleeze on the Hip Hop Hangover disclaimer page:
Symone appeared in 63 episodes of the Cosby Show, which ran from 1989 to 1992.
Bill Cosby has been in the news recently over allegations raised by Janice Dickinson who said the comedian actor sexually assaulted her.
Dickerson is the third woman to come forward with sexual assault claims against the 77-year-old actor.
On November 17, 2014, NPR's Scott Simon interviewed Cosby and questioned him about the accusations of sexual assault that have been claimed against him. At that point Cosby remained silent and had nothing further to say.
Here is a copy of the transcript of that interview:
SCOTT SIMON: "This question gives me no pleasure, Mr. Cosby, but there have been serious allegations raised about you in recent days."
BILL COSBY: [SILENCE]
SIMON: "You're shaking your head no. I'm in the news business. I have to ask the question. Do you have any response to those charges?"
COSBY: [SILENCE]
SIMON: "Shaking your head no. There are people who love you who might like to hear from you about this. I want to give you the chance."
COSBY: [SILENCE]
SIMON: "Alright. Camille and Bill Cosby. They have lent 62 pieces from their collection of African and African-American art to create an exhibit called Conversations: African and African American Artworks in Dialogue. It's now on display at the Smithsonian National Museum of African Art through early 2016. Thank you both."
