The criticism from Piers Morgan is real, according to a March 24, 2016 article by the U.K.'s Daily Mail. In it, Morgan wrote, "Why does he not seem to have a clue how to behave when major atrocities happen around the world?" He went on to say that the "ISIS terror attacks on Brussels were Belgium’s 9/11."
President Barack Obama was in Cuba when news of the attack got to him. He continued with his visit after a brief (52 seconds) statement to the press and went to a baseball game.
After the President's visit in Cuba was over, the First Family boarded Air Force One and flew to Argentina. During a dinner hosted by Argentina's President Mauricio Macri, President Obama and First Laday Michelle were invited to the dance floor for a tango by a couple of professional dancers.
"It looked terrible, like he didn’t care," Morgan wrote. "And to be harshly frank," he continued, "I don’t think he did much."
Morgan's fiery critique ended with,
"And history will now forever remember that when Belgium was knocked to its
knees, Barack Obama went to a ball game and danced the Tango. Shame on you, Mr.
President."
