During the interview Walker "accused the NFL of essentially giving out "hush money" to stop players from kneeling for the national anthem." The former football player said "the NFL in late November offered $100 million to social justice organizations favored by players.
According to a Nov. 29, 2018 article by ESPN, the payoff would take place during the course of a seven year program, with players matching contributions dollar for dollar.
