Scientist and self proclaimed Atheist Richard Dawkins said this in an interview with the Times of London in April 2010. This according to several sources including The Grace Effect: How the Power of One Life Can Reverse the Corruption of Unbelief (page 217) by Larry Alex Taunton.
Dawkins told the Times, “There are no Christians, as far as I know, blowing up buildings. I am not aware of any Christian suicide bombers. I am not aware of any major Christian denomination that believes the penalty for apostasy is death. I have mixed feelings about the decline of Christianity, in so far as Christianity might be a bulwark against something worse.”
In a January 13, 2016 Breitbart commentary, theologian and author Thomas D. Williams, Ph.D. made a profound observation, "Faced with the suicide bombers and child rapists of radical Islam, however, Dawkins finally found something that he thought was worse."
