ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi was wounded in U.S. Airstrike

Reports of a US-led coalition airstrike on a convoy of senior ISIS leaders that may have critically injured the group's chief, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.

iRumorMill.com Determination: Unproven

There was an airstrike on a "convoy of senior militants" but it is uncertain that the group's leader, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, was among them or that he may have been injured in the attack.  This according to a November 10, 2014 article by England's Independent.

The Independent reported that news of the attack was covered by Iraqi state television who interviewed an Interior Ministry official and a senior Iraqi military official. Both officials "told the Associated Press that the strike on Saturday had wounded Baghdadi, but gave no details about how bad his injuries might be, following speculation about his death."

The iRumorMill.com Crew will be following this story and will post findings here when they develop.
