Syrian Thanked Donald Trump on CNN for Ordering Airstrike

Kassem Eid, a Syrian who in 2013 survived a chemical attack by the Assad regime was interviewed on CNN by Brook Baldwin. Eid expressed gratitude for Trump's order to bomb a Syrian Airbase from where a chemical attack was alleged to be launched. CNN's Brooke Baldwin tried to turn the table on Eid by asking his opinion on the Trump executive orders to ban Syrian refugees and his response was still in support of President Trump's decisions. Determination: Real

Kassem Eid on CNN thanks Trump

Kassem Eid was interviewed on CNN on April 7, 2017 where he said, "I cried out of joy. I thanked God. I don't know. I was overwhelmed. We've been asking for protection. We've been asking for consequences for more than six years I cried out of joy. I thanked god. I don't know. I was overwhelmed. We've been asking for protection. We've been asking for consequences for more than six years and today for the first time it happened, for the very first time we see Assad held accountable just for once, held accountable for his crimes against humanity. I was overwhelmed. I felt grateful for President Trump. I felt grateful for the United States."

Eid, criticized the Obama administration for six years of inaction and praised Donald Trump for holding Syrian President Bashar Hafez al-Assad accountable for the atrocities.

When asked about the Syrian travel ban that President Trump signed by executive order, Eid's response was Syrians want to stay in Syria and do not want to go to the United States.
