iRumorMill.com Determination: Real but Later Retracted
According to a Jan. 31, 2019 article by Bay Area CBS affiliate, KPIX, "chef and partner at Wursthall Restaurant and Bierhaus J. Kenji Lopez-Alt sent out a tweet declaring that he would not serve anyone who comes into his place wearing a 'Make America Great Again' cap."
The article said Lopez-Alt compares the red MAGA cap to the Ku Klux Klan.
On Feb. 1, 2019 Lopez-Alt issued an apology "for making the statement without the consent of his staff and partners, and for being “reckless” in the way he had presented his thoughts." This according to a Fox News article issued that day.
