Shortly After the GOP lead Senate passed H.R.1 - Tax Cuts and Jobs Act the California Democrat lashed out a tirade in response, calling the massive tax cut a "scam." According to a Dec. 4, 2016 article by the NY Post, Rep. Nancy Pelosi told reporters that the bill's passage was Armageddon and warned healthcare is life and death. Pelosi followed that with a Twitter post that said, "I want every single California Republican to understand this. Your ideology doesn’t come first. Your party doesn’t come first. The PEOPLE come first. If you fail to recognize that, you don’t belong here."

The House Bill and the Senate Bills are now in the process in being consolidated into one bill before being sent to the Oval Office for President Trump's signature.
According to the HR-1 page posted on Congress.gov, the House of Representatives version of the bill does mention the Affordable Care Act known as "Obamacare." Nor does it repeal the individual mandate.
The Senate bill ends the individual mandate, which means Americans are free to opt out of the program without facing penalties from the Internal Revenue Service. Americans will be mandated to have health insurance until December 31, 2018. See below:
PART VIII--INDIVIDUAL MANDATE
SEC. 11081. ELIMINATION OF SHARED RESPONSIBILITY PAYMENT FOR
INDIVIDUALS FAILING TO MAINTAIN MINIMUM ESSENTIAL
COVERAGE.
(a) In General.--Section 5000A(c) is amended--
(1) in paragraph (2)(B)(iii), by striking ``2.5 percent''
and inserting ``Zero percent'', and
(2) in paragraph (3)--
(A) by striking ``$695'' in subparagraph (A) and
inserting ``$0'', and
(B) by striking subparagraph (D).
(b) Effective Date.--The amendments made by this section shall
apply to months beginning after December 31, 2018.
